Terms and Conditions – HandPicked Matchmaking Services

By registering for HandPicked Matchmaking Services, you (“User/Client”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These are in place to ensure respectful, secure, and meaningful matchmaking experiences for all parties involved.

1. Data Privacy & Profile Information

1. Full Name, Age, Gender Identity
2. Contact Details (Email & Phone Number)
3. Address (City & ZIP Code)
4. Ethnicity / Cultural Background
5. Religion / Spirituality
6. Education, Occupation, Work Schedule, Income Range
7. Smoking & Drinking Habits, Diet, Fitness Level
8. Pets / Animal Preferences
9. Love Language & Lifestyle Interests
10. Relationship Preferences (Dating, Marriage, Casual, etc.)
11. Deal-breakers, Readiness to Meet Someone
12. Match Preferences (age range, education, beliefs, etc.)
13. Experience with Dating/Matchmaking Platforms

You consent to providing accurate and truthful information and agree to participate in blind matchmaking.

2. Profile Matching & Confidentiality

1. No personal details (name, contact, or photos) are shared without consent.
2. Profile photos are never exchanged with potential matches.
3. A one-time view of the boy’s photo may be sent to the girl upon approval.
4. All dates are blind—compatibility-based, not looks-based.
5. Dates are scheduled in safe, public locations only (e.g., restaurants, cafes).
6. Users must share their live location throughout the date until reaching home.

3. Date Scheduling, Attendance, and Cancellations

1. Inform us ASAP if you’ll be late. No-show without notice may lead to suspension.
2. Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance.
3. Late cancellations = no refund + potential suspension.
4. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in permanent disqualification.
5. No unexpected guests are allowed.
6. Friends may join only if informed 24 hours in advance and approved by the other party.

4. Behavior Expectations During Dates

• Lying during profile verification – Permanent ban
• Touching without consent – Immediate ban
• Verbal harassment / aggressive tone – Ban + report
• Failure to share live location – Date cancelled; 1-month suspension
• Shouting or fighting – Review + ban
• Drug use / excessive drinking – Permanent removal
• Mocking language, accent, and culture – Ban + flagged
• Recording or photographing without consent – Banned immediately
• Stalking/harassment after the date – Legal action + ban
• Ignoring multiple feedback reminders – Account deprioritized
• Not splitting the cost if agreed upon – Flagged for review
• Forcing post-date contact – Ban + report

5. Post-Date Conduct & Communication

1. You may leave a date at any time without explanation.
2. Submit feedback within 24 hours via our feedback form or phone call.
3. Numbers can only be exchanged upon mutual consent.
4. Once numbers are exchanged, HandPicked is no longer liable for further interactions.
5. Uncomfortable moments must be reported immediately.
6. A detailed date report is required for quality improvement.

6. Consent & ID Verification

1. Government-issued ID is mandatory before matchmaking begins.
2. Refusing consent or ID = no service.
3. All users must agree to behave respectfully and honestly at all times.
4. Social media profile(s) must be shared and followed back for background verification and safety.

7. Legal Disclaimers

1. HandPicked does not guarantee success or romantic outcomes.
2. We are not responsible for dishonesty or post-match issues.
3. Legal action will be pursued in cases of abuse, stalking, or harassment.

8. Acceptance

1. Provide accurate and honest information.
2. Abide by all behavioral guidelines.
3. Cooperate with safety protocols during and after dates.
4. Avoid promoting businesses or bringing weapons to dates.
